First Grade Teacher
Experience in Education: I am starting my 19th year in PISD. I have been teaching 1st grade at Hunt since 2008. I worked at Wyatt Elementary prior to that.
Background: I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and attended college at Southern Methodist University. I started as a substitute teacher in Plano and found my passion was being in the classroom. I went back to school to get my certification and truly love teaching children to love learning.
Interests: I enjoy spending time with my family. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, needlework, and SMU football and basketball.
