Assistant Principal

Experience in Education: I've dedicated my like to the field of education.  I currently serve as an assistant principal in Plano ISD and previously spent 8 years as a Gen-ED and Honors Teacher in Math & Science with Mansfield ISD.

It has been a privilege to fulfill the various roles mentioned earlier, including serving as an Assistant Principal Mentor, Instructional Leader, Mentor Teacher, Team Leader, Tutor, and even finding joy as a School Bus Driver, among other fulfilling educational positions! Each experience has provided me with invaluable skills, preparing me to step into the role of Assistant Principal at Hunt, proudly known as the home of the remarkable "HOUNDS!"

Background: I grew up in Louisiana as a country girl, raised by my Mother and Grandparents who instilled in us the importance of the "Golden Rule" – treating others as you'd like to be treated. My deepest passion lies in Educating, Enlightening, and Empowering all those involved in education, firmly believing in the adage "Knowledge is Power!"

Interests: Enjoying quality moments with loved ones, indulging in movies, and imparting knowledge to others, regardless of the circumstances!
